Benthany's Bridal Shoot

So seeing how I am also a professional photographer, I wanted to put together a photo shoot focusing on the bride and her beauty. Since I never get a chance to do what I want to do (as far as creative freedom with makeup, color pallets, etc.) I put together this shoot so I could do just that. This time I chose the eye shadow colors, lashes, liner, jewelry, dress, and so on. I not only did the makeup and photographer, but I styled the entire shoot as well. To see the entire shoot and not just the beauty portion please visit my photography website at www.taralibbyphotography.com. I had so much fun I will be doing another one here soon & to give you a hint, it's going to be glamorous, exotic, and vibrant!

Before and After

The first picture is a wedding trial before and after, the second picture is a very good friend of mine and she wanted me to teach her how to play up her features.

My Very 1st Bride: Stacey

First off, I hope you realize these pictures are way out of order lol! This was in 2009...just to be clear. Stacey is my good friend and she asked me to do her wedding day makeup. She put me to the test and apparently I passed lol. I guess you can say I owe a lot of this to her for making me realize what my passion was. I always loved makeup and doing people's makeup, I just hadn't quite figured out how I could make a living at it. Thank you Stacey!

My Beautiful Bride: Marcella

Marcella was my second bride ever! She was referred to me by my first bride ever lol!  After I did Marcella's wedding I went on to finish school, get my degree, and get a "real job" (as my asshole ex-boss liked to remind me of). I finally came back around to the makeup/wedding industry after I grew bored and tired of the gray walls of the corporate world, not to mention being over worked, under paid, un-stimulated, and tired of being the target of coworkers insecurities. Oh yes, anyways...I got a little side tracked there lol! I loved doing Marcell's makeup because she wanted color (and so did her mother)!!! Plus her bridesmaids were beautiful, Marcella was beautiful, AND her mom was beautiful! What more could a makeup artist ask for?
